Ai Social Videos

Howdy!

Thank you for inviting us to this brief. We are excited to submit our idea to the ring. We've had some great chats with Chip Schneider, and we are delighted to get started producing these videos. Our approach, team budget, and timeline are outlined and explained in detail below. Please feel free to reach out with any questions about this bid or for clarifying comments. Let's start at the start and tell you more about our company.

We are a full-service production and post-production house based in Kansas City, Missouri. TwoSeam Films was founded in 2018 by a veteran of in-house video production for the advertising agency Barkley. The company focuses on mid-sized budget range productions and has a strong focus on advertising and documentary-style work.

Our capabilities span from the concept phase to the final deliverables. From pre-production brainstorms to final color corrections, we handle everything in-house and operate as a plug-and-play team that can integrate into any established marketing department.

The Approach

We see this project as a unified production with three key approaches. You've already broken them down into the three subsections of your specific needs, and we plan to treat each as its own concept with some unifying characteristics. One of the key elements of all three projects is that they are social-first executions. This means vertical video. Creating a video specifically designed for social media is the most effective way to communicate effectively in that space.

The look and feel, graphics, sound design, and color correction can give all three of these projects a cohesive aesthetic. Let's examine how each project might differ below.

Interview Series

This is a great one to start with, because let's not fix what isn't broken. We see no need to overcomplicate this series. We need: a camera, audio, a person to speak about the topic, and a concise, edited version. That's as easy as it gets. The key to making this project work is all in scheduling. Let's schedule as many quick interviews as possible in a day and maximize the amount of content we gather per shoot. Additionally, each interview can be broken down into multiple deliverables—one interview may give us five videos on its own. This gives us lots of room to grow and keep videos short.

These videos can be shot on location, in people's offices, with a minimal crew. "Nimble" is the name of the game, and there is no reason to blow production value out of proportion. Let's make it as frictionless as possible so you get more content for your money.

The video below is the exact match for this approach. We filmed this video just a few weeks back with our pals at Boulevard Brewing

What If Series

Supported by B-roll footage we captured alongside other projects and stock footage, this series features text-on-screen, voiceover, and simple graphics. Although some of the technology may be complicated under the hood, simple explanations will make it easier for people to understand how your products will benefit them. The focus of these videos should not be explaining much of the "how" but focus on the human element of how it can change day-to-day functions.

Using graphics for this type of work also presents a unique advantage, as we can make changes very easily. If we commit anything to video, it becomes a lot harder to tweak or make changes down the line. If any part of the UI or product changes, we will be able to swap a few graphics and resolve the issue. Check out some of our graphics-driven videos below. The tradeoff is that we need to craft scripts before we produce these videos. Writing these scripts will require collaboration with and be handled by the WellSky team.

Below is an example of using photography, broll, text on screen and graphics to tell a story. We finished this with our friends at Dimensional Innovations to help them show off their immaculate college installations.

Demo Series

This is the one we are most excited to share with you. It may seem straightforward to think of product demonstrations. It could be easier to execute. But this is where the rubber meets the road. We want to showcase these products and demonstrate to the world our enthusiasm for them. Let's create a mini-set and add some production value to these videos in the process. This set can be modular, movable, and storable. That means we can use it again and again in the years to come.

Our intention is not for the set to feel illusionistic but rather theater-inspired. It's a backdrop that makes the viewer feel like they are behind the scenes in a clean and intentional approach. The set will be optimized to accommodate two individuals—a WellSky Team member and a healthcare professional.

Once the set is built, all we have to do is light it, put people in it, and record them demonstrating, role-playing, explaining, and showing off each specific product.

Above are a few examples of AI renderings of jumping off points. We will work closely with our Production Designer to solidify the plans based off your direction and feedback.

MGP - Rackhouse Round Table

This production took place in a distillery and bar in Kansas City. The production budget was a little higher but this still illustrates some of the same concepts of showing the production elements on screen so the viewer is away of “the set”.

This approach makes the conversation feel transparent and open. Similarly, this conversation is also about industry experts discussing their expertise in a very unassuming and approachable manner.

The Team

  • Michael Martin

    DIRECTOR

IMichael is the founder and director at TwoSeam Films. With 15 years of production and post-production experience, Michael wears nearly every hat in the process. For this particular project, Michael will be on set to guide your production and in the edit suite assembling your videos. This approach streamlines the process to find production efficiencies in our workflow.

  • Cory Hinesley

    PRODUCTION DESIGNER

For our suggested approach, we will need some small set builds, and there is no one better in the Midwest than Cory Hinesley for our needs. She recently completed work on one of the most unique art installation exhibits in the country. The name and scope of the project haven't been released, but we look forward to sharing the news once it becomes public.

  • Sam Sullivan

    CAMERA OPERATOR

Sam has worked closely with Michael over the last two years to become his right-hand man. The two work on nearly every local production for TwoSeam Films, and they have developed a shorthand that makes working a breeze. Sam is a talented filmmaker in his own right, and having him on set will make all of these productions flow as smoothly as possible.

The Timeline

We see these projects as a set of three productions. Each production would have two principal shoot days. Each of these projects will be filmed throughout October and edited in November. Once principal photography is wrapped, we can prioritize and stagger deliverables based on relevance and release schedule. This approach gives us control of what gets delivered, prioritized by release date, with all videos easily wrapped by year's end.

September 15: Job Awards
September 15-30: Two days of Interview filming
September 30: Design finalized for Set // Construction begins
October 1: All scripts finalized for "What If" Videos
October 15-30: Two days of Demo filming
November 15: All "What If" Videos complete
December 1: All Interview Videos Completed
December 31: All Deliverables completed

The Budget

By the Numbers

We propose a final price of just over $60,000 for all 30 videos (minimum), payable in monthly installments rather than at delivery. The retainer would begin on September 15 and be billed as four total payments equaling 25% of the final agreed-upon budget.

The videos will be finalized at an ongoing pace, and a retainer-based approach will make things much more straightforward.

If you'd like our in-depth budget, we have included it here. In the interest of brevity, we also outline it as follows:

  • $35,000 -Pre-production and production

  • $7,000 - set build

  • $5,000 - Equipment Rental

  • $10,000 - Editing / Stock Footage / Music

  • $5,000 - Motion Graphics

The above includes over 30 final deliverables for social media, with and without captions, as well as the delivery of all raw captured videos, pre-production, all video equipment rental, stock footage, stock music, color correction, and graphics. The above also assumes that we have no talent fees or actors involved and that WellSky can provide any necessary experts, healthcare workers, doctors, and interviewees for our videos at no cost to production, including travel expenses.
