Barnaby Bright

Barnaby Bright

This fall, I had the opportunity to work with the group Barnaby Bright. We made a series of videos while they recorded their new releases at Weights & Measures Sound Lab. We ended up with 6 full videos of the band performing live.

The group just moved home from Brooklyn, New York and are making great music here in the heartland. Keep an eye out for them. They can put an ear worm into a tune that will be stuck in your mind for days.

Take5 - GovWall

Every year the Governor's Ball in New York is flooded with tons of young people attending the three day music festival. We were on the ground, documenting Take5's installation of some street art on location. The activation gave everyone a change to have a killer Instagram shot and this video tells that story.

Add/Good Manifesto

A manifesto for Barkley. A way of life. A good way to look at the world. This video was fun, handmade, light and enjoyable. I was able to team up with the very talented Casey Ligon to create all of these text-inspired visuals. Slap on some fun music composed by the fellas at Primary Color Music and you have a beautiful little piece.

Unruh Furniture

I met Sam Unruh in the winter of 2012. Back then, he was building furniture in his detached garage. Now he has dozens of employees and occupies a building space in a renovated church. Sam has made a name for himself and his furniture.

Sam and I made several videos together from 2013 to 2014. A few of those videos were featured on his primary social media advertising campaigns. I still get an email every now-and-again asking me about those videos.

In all, we created 7 videos. 5 were part of a series that showcased specific aspects of Unruh Furniture. The other videos were short vignettes that told a story about Sam and his furniture. All of those videos can be found on this page.

Take5 Remixer

Take5 Remixer

Take5 invented a playable packaging for their snack bars. The ink on this box was electro conductive and played one part of a custom created set of loops. The music track behind this is the full song with all of the loops played.

For this shoot, I was the Director of Photography as well as the editor. To save on budget, Hershey also elected to have me color correct this shoot. I was glad to get the opportunity to do so much on one video.

DQ Royal Blizzard

When the Queen of England turns 90, you get her a gift. Dairy Queen offered this tasty little treat to her at the gates of Buckingham Palace. This edit was a ton of fun, and I'm glad to have such a boondoggle on my editor's reel.
