Some of my friends baffle me with many talents. These two friends are musically inclined, and it shows. They formed the group Sweet Martha, and I have always volunteered my video skills to them. They sound so incredible in person, and I wanted to capture that feeling on video. We set up one microphone and placed the uncut audio under the video. The video is one take (not the first, but one) and really gave their sound and performance its due credit.
What’s the point of being able to make a video if you can't have fun from time-to-time? Additionally, why make videos if you've never worked with puppets. This video kills two birds with one stone!
In the fall of 2014, the Kansas City Royals made it to the playoffs for the first time in 30 years. I asked the crew at Primary Color Music to write up a little anthem for the occasion. Then, we found a sack of puppets. The rest is history.

It’s pretty easy to make Casey Ligon's work look good on camera. This is one of the many examples I have of our work together. This video was made on the cheap and quick for a Portfolio night for Kansas City's Ad Club. This video was a ready-made assembly of the things we found around our homes to make a large typographic installation. Any time I get to shoot video that is based on type, I'm happy :D
